From 10 a.m. to 12 on Tuesday, Subway will be giving out 1 million free sandwiches to commemorate the release of its Subway Series menu.

New sandwiches were introduced last week and are being billed as “the most major menu overhaul in its almost 60-year existence,” which is driving the headlines.

A free 6-inch Subway Series sandwich of your choice will be given out at participating restaurants to the first 50 customers who inquire for the offer.

The promotion will remain for two hours, or until all of the freebies have been distributed.
The fine print stipulates that only one may be purchased per individual, and that no substitutes may be made.

As for Subway’s “100 percent tuna” claims, a federal court in California has ruled that the company may be sued for deceiving consumers.

On July 13, last year, Subway introduced the Eat Fresh Refresh menu, which included 20 new items, and offered a free sandwich to anybody who purchased one.
