For many people, the autumn season means Pumpkin Spice lattes at Starbucks. Markie Devo, author of a blog on junk food, claims that the 2022 Fall menu for Starbucks will be released on August 30.
There doesn’t seem to be a new drink this season, but the Apple Crisp Macchiato is making a comeback. Which leads us to say… yay? We didn’t really like the beverage, so we’re holding out hope that they have something better up their coffee-stained sleeves. It’s possible that somewhere in the sky, there’s a s’mores drink.
However, we approached a random barista and they stated they haven’t heard of anything.
The Starbucks Fall Menu
While Starbucks’ autumn menu has traditionally debuted in September, the company shifted the PSL release date to August in 2018 and again on August 24 in 2018.
You’ll have to hold out until the shockingly late date of August 30 this year. Here’s how to create your own Pumpkin Spice Latte if you can’t find one at a store near you. Use one of these pumpkin-shaped glasses to enjoy it just as much.
Starbucks’s Seasonal Drinks Catalog For 2022
Here are 2021’s top Starbucks autumn beverages. In 2022, you may anticipate the same, but with some tweaks and changes.
By the end of August, we should get a look at the new autumn beverage offerings at Starbucks, which may include the return of the perennial favourite, the pumpkin spice latte.
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte
Our favourite season is autumn. Pumpkin spice lattes and a warm atmosphere are two must-haves for a fantastic autumn celebration.
Due to high demand, we are now stocking Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Our Pumpkin Spice Latte has just the right amount of sweetness from cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger to help you fall in love with autumn.
Indulge in the comforting aroma and flavour of pumpkin spice in their best-selling beverages this season.
Starbucks is known for their Pumpkin Spice Lattes. It’s made with hot steamed milk, pumpkin spice syrup, and freshly brewed espresso.
PSL has a wonderful autumn taste. This replicates Starbucks’ signature drink down to the last detail, with a warming blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, and caramel.
This is a great drink for your next autumn gatherings, and it’s really simple to whip up!
2. Macchiato With Apple Crisp And Oatmilk (320 calories)
It appears we weren’t the only ones who weren’t very impressed with this plant-based beverage. This one was sent back to the lab for a fresh start, according to Devo. However, we did like the Frappuccino variant. Still, if there’s whipped cream involved, we’re all for it. Is that a plate of Brussels sprouts I see before me? Sure, why not?
3. Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
A seasonal favourite, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew tastes like pumpkin pie in a glass. The pumpkin flavour comes through in a subtle way in this naturally sweet and creamy brew.
With its creamy, sweet flavour and distinctive pumpkin pie aroma, this cold brew coffee and spices combination will take you back to Thanksgiving.
Unlike regular hot brewed coffee, which is sometimes bitter and acidic, cold brew coffee is produced by letting ground coffee seep in water at room temperature or below for many hours.
Sweeten your pumpkin cream cold brew with pureed pumpkin and a touch of vanilla extract. Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, sweetened with our unique black sugar simple syrup, is the ideal wintertime pick-me-up.
4. A Pistachio Latte
The Pistachio Latte is the newest addition to Starbucks’ autumn beverage lineup, and it’s clearly inspired by the culinary world.
Espresso, vanilla syrup, crushed pistachios, and whipped cream make for a tasty drink.
Some hallmarks of its namesake, such as froth, will remain in the beverage, but it will have a distinct taste profile of its own: sweet and nutty.
With whipped cream, pistachio paste, sweetened condensed milk, espresso, and froth, they topped milk and ice with this coffee concoction.
Cream, a handmade pistachio butter syrup, and crushed pistachios are used as garnishes for this cocktail.
Our Pistachio Latte has a rich, nutty flavour and enticing scent.
The combination of the gently sweetened steamed milk with the characteristic roasted texture of the robust ground whole-bean coffee creates a taste that is both unique and unforgettable.
5. Spiced Caramel Apple
Enjoy the crisp autumn air? You want to avoid spending all your time in the kitchen, but you are one of the people that wear sweaters and boots until it is too hot.
For a taste of autumn without leaving your house, try Starbucks’ Caramel Apple Spice blended drink.
Caramel Apple Spice is inspired by everyone’s favourite fall treat, the caramel apple, and has a layer of silky caramel drizzled over ice and topped with whipped cream.
The sweet combination of apples and caramel is like dessert in a glass. A drink flavoured like caramel apple will bring you the spirit of autumn.
On a cold winter day, this sweet and spicy delicacy will do just the trick.
6. Pumpkin Spice Scones (500 calories)
The scone is the best pastry for starting the day. Usually, they are just the right amount of sweet, while yet being dry enough to not shatter in your mouth as a biscotti would. What? You only have 500 calories? Anyway, as soon as we get out of the dentist’s chair, we plan to look into it.
7. An Owl-shaped Cake Pop (Approx 150 Calories)
The owl that was meant to inform us how many licks it takes to get to the core of a Tootsie Pop but instead ate it looks much like this new purple owl cake pop. Wow, things have really turned around.
Will There Be A Cost Increase For The PSL?
Yes. According to rumours, Starbucks has increased the price of the Pumpkin Spice Latte by 80 cents in an attempt to enhance employee pay (including for baristas).
A $15 minimum wage and “adding incremental raises that will apply to all U.S. retail partners, while recognising and rewarding tenure” are positive steps, but we still have concerns about their anti-union policies.
