Lisa Canning served as co-host for the first season, followed by Samantha Harris for seasons 2 through 9, Brooke Burke-Charvet for seasons 10 through 17, and Erin Andrews for seasons 18 through 28.

Tyra Banks, a model, has hosted the programme since its twenty-ninth season. Alfonso Ribeiro joined as a co-host beginning with the thirty-first season.

Dancing With The Stars Cast Announcement Date

The cast announcement date will be September 8, according to entertainment reporter Kristyn Burtt, who has all the inside information on “Dancing With the Stars.”

Dance With The Stars Judges & Pros

Disney Plus confirmed that Ribeiro will host “Dancing With the Stars” and that all four judges will return for season 31.

Pros are unknown. Burtt isn’t sure. She tweeted, “Pros haven’t been notified who’s returning officially,” and she said, “I don’t right now.” Too many variables to guess.”

Sharna Burgess gave birth to her first child on June 28 and Jenna Johnson announced on July 15 that she and husband Val Chmerkovskiy are expecting.

Sharna may return if the show approaches her and she’s up for it. Peta Murgatroyd danced in season 24 barely seven weeks after giving birth to Shai. Sharna had a C-section, she subsequently announced on Instagram, so her recuperation may be lengthier.

Jenna won’t be in the season. She’s expecting in January 2023 and would be fairly pregnant by the end of the season.

Musicians in the show

The live music for the show was performed by the orchestra and singers of the Harold Wheeler show for a total of 17 seasons.

On February 7, 2014, it was announced that Ray Chew would be brought in as band leader, and he would bring with him a new band of instrumentalists and vocalists. Ray Chew brought with him a new band of instrumentalists and singers.

In most cases, the casts have at least two full weeks before the premiere to perfect their first dance performance before the audience.

Dancing With The Stars Show Reception

“unlike So You Think You Can Dance, which is normally more of a city show, Dancing with the Stars is most popular in the countryside,” according to the findings of a survey conducted by The New York Times in 2016 on the top 50 television shows with the most Facebook Likes.

In addition, it has a greater percentage of “likes” than any other show does among viewers aged 65 and older.
