PnB Rock was the stage name of American rapper and singer Rakim Hasheem Allen, who was born on December 9, 1991 and passed away on September 12, 2022.
Allen was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States. His track “Selfish” from 2016 was the song that brought him the most attention, and it reached number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
Additionally, he contributed vocals that were not acknowledged to him on the popular single “Changes” by XXXTentacion, which debuted in the top 20 on the aforementioned chart.
Catch These Vibes (2017) and TrapStar Turnt PopStar (2018) are two of his studio albums that he has released (2019).

Rapper PnB Rock Shot Dead
PnB Rock was shot and died in a robbery in South Los Angeles on Monday afternoon. The LAPD verified to Complex that a victim had been shot to death, as both the L.A. Times and LAPD had reported.
The Philadelphia native, Rakim Hasheem Allen, was 30 years old. He leaves two little girls behind.
According to The Times, the incident took place about 1:15 p.m. PnB Rock was “being robbed of his jewels” at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles when law enforcement received a call about the incident at 1:23 p.m., according to TMZ.
Police said the media the guy was pronounced dead at a hospital at 1:59 p.m. and that gruesome video circulating online showed him “fighting for his life.”

In one of the videos below, Los Angeles Police Capt. Kelly Muniz refers to the victim as “the victim was sitting at a table eating with a female witness when he was approached by the suspect.” PnB Rock isn’t mentioned, however.
The suspect then demanded his belongings while brandishing a gun. After firing several bullets, the suspect appears to have taken some items, albeit to what amount is unknown at this time.
A TMZ source said it “appears the shooter targeted PnB, because no one else was shot or harmed,” according to Muniz, who also said the culprit “shot the victim and rushed out the side door to a getaway car and then departed the parking lot.”
“We were dining”: Rapper PnB’s girlfriend
According to reports, the artist’s girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang, with whom he shared a 2-year-old kid named Xuri, briefly posted on her Instagram Stories that they were dining at Roscoe’s before deleting it.
PnB wrote at the time, “Quarantine put me and bae relationship to the test…mainly my fuckups but we been thuggin’ it out and goin’ thru all this shit only make us stronger,” when Sibounheuang co-starred in his “Need Somebody” music video (below) in April 2021.

On December 9, 1991, Rakim Hasheem Allen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Germantown district. Allen’s mother raised him mostly after his father was killed when he was 3 years old.
He grew up listening to the R&B duo Jodeci and rapper Tupac while growing up in Northeast Philadelphia. At the age of 13, Allen was taken to a youth detention programme for committing robberies and fighting in the classroom.
He was given a 33-month prison term for drug use and other offences when he was 19 years old. After being released from prison, Allen briefly lived on the streets.
He never completed high school. He eventually chose the stage moniker PnB Rock, which honours Pastorius and Baynton, a street intersection close to where he grew up in the Germantown neighbourhood of Philadelphia.
PnB Rock had two children, the second of which was born to Stephanie Sibounheuang in 2020.

Beginning in 2022, he made a comeback with the joint project SoundCloud Daze, which he hand-picked for its talented up-and-comers.

In recent years, he has made some notable cameos, including as on Meek Mill’s “Dangerous” in 2018, Ed Sheeran’s “Cross Me” with Chance the Rapper in 2019, and XXXTentacion’s “Bad Vibes Forever” with Trippie Redd.
