The agents and staff at The Agency, a brokerage with offices in Los Angeles County, California, are the focus of “Buying Beverly Hills,” a Netflix reality show.
The show delves into the characters’ lives as they attempt to fix their professional and personal problems. Viewers not only get to see some of the biggest names in the industry at work but also get a glimpse at how they mentor up-and-coming agents as they work alongside a mix of seasoned pros.
Joey Ben-Zvi is quickly becoming a fan-favorite on the show as one of the most promising young agents on the rise.
His journey has been especially interesting to follow because of the bonds he has formed with the other cast members. Since many of his followers will also be interested in learning more about the new reality star, we shall do so.
History Of Joey Ben-Zvi
On April 16, 1996, Joey Ben-Zvi entered this world in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. He was raised by wealthy parents, and he and Alexia Umansky have been close friends since they were in elementary school, so the rumor goes.
Actually, the teenager and his pals founded Plus Prosthetics in March 2013, but he quit after only a month. In June of 2013, he began a nearly year-long position as a Summer Intern at the Institute of Myeloma and Bone Cancer.
Joey graduated from Milken Community High School in 2014 and is currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. When he was a student at the university,
he joined the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and served as Rush Chair from the beginning of the 2015–2016 school year until the beginning of the next school year.
The native Californian worked for the Tamid Group before becoming a Business Development Intern at Koss Real Estate Investments for a period of 14 months beginning in June 2015. A foreign student, he spent the winter of 2017 at Tel Aviv University in Israel.
Joey worked hard and studied diligently to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2018. Then, right away (in May 2018), he started working for The Agency’s Real Estate Sales Department as an associate. But he didn’t get his California real estate license until June 5 of this year.
After further development, he joined the Umansky team, where he trained under the tutelage of martial arts legends such as Mauricio Umansky and Farrah Brittany. From Jon Grauman and Ben Belack, two other Senior Agents, he picked up a lot of helpful information as well.
Joey Ben-Zvi’s Girlfriend
It appears that Joey Ben-Zvi is currently single. In the first season of ‘Buying Beverly Hills,’ however, there are hints that he and Alexia Umansky had a romantic relationship.
The two have shared a deep and abiding love for one another from the very beginning. However, working closely together with their common boss Mauricio Umansky created an uncomfortable situation for them. It didn’t sit well with him that his close friend and coworker were dating his boss’s daughter.
Joey and Alexia have decided to keep their relationship at the platonic friend level, despite their deep and abiding love for one another. In addition, Alexia is currently in a fulfilling relationship with Jake Zingerman. Joey, on the other hand, seems committed 100 percent to his real estate work.
He hasn’t shown any public signs of interest in a romantic partner recently either. So, all of us here at AP wish Joey the best of luck in his future endeavors and pray that he enjoys many more wonderful and exciting years to come.
A Trip To Beverly Hills With Alexa And Joey
Alexia, a native of Beverly Hills, first met Joey, a resident of Brentwood, when they were both in middle school in the middle the to late 2000s. Even though they were just kids at the time, they knew their instant, easy friendship had the potential to last a lifetime and perhaps develop into something more.
Consequently, it came as no surprise that the couple was still together as they began their professional careers as junior realtors under her father (albeit with some complications).
There was no denying Alexia and Joey’s undeniable attraction to one another, so they dated for a while before breaking up to concentrate on their careers.
This is because of the nature of the young employees’ relationship with their supervisor and their desire to demonstrate their worth in order to dispel any notion that they had gotten ahead solely because of their familiarity with the right people. Strangely, after two years of being close friends, they finally broached the subject, and it was clear that not a single bit of their feelings had changed.
Alexia did get hurt after she found out that everyone at work, including Joey, was afraid of what might get back to her father if they said anything inappropriate about her (the Founder-CEO of the brokerage).
She said sadly on the reality show, “Joey of all people should not feel like he has to do that.” When people aren’t able to be themselves around you, it can be disheartening. Nonetheless, the two were able to get back to normal—back to being close friends—thanks to the way Joey hid her feelings, her status, and her efforts behind her back before clearing the air directly with her.
Will Alexia And Joey Stay Friends? When Did They Become A Couple?
Joey finally asked Alexia the question she’d asked him before, and she said, “I don’t know.” Please know how much you mean to me and how much I care. Always have I will stand on the sidelines and guard you.
In response, he said, “You are one of the most significant people in my entire life. Please know how much you mean to me and how much I care.
Since the first time we met, you’ve been important to me. They were both relieved after the conversation because it strengthened their long-standing friendship, but it should be made clear that they are not romantically involved.
Alexia and Joey appear to be as close as ever, all while advancing their respective careers at The Agency (where Joey has recently founded the BZP Group). And it’s worth noting that, according to her Instagram account, the former has been in a stable, happy relationship with Direct Cash Group Managing Director Jake Zingerman since at least the spring of 2021.
She’s not the type to post pictures of them together with mushy captions, but he has no problem constantly bragging about how amazing she is on social media (he even wrote “My best friend and whole heart.” on her birthday card in June). She’s the most incredible girl in the world. I care about you more than anything in the world.
Alexia asked her friend straight out if he still had feelings for her, and he said his “ultimate priority” was still being the best realtor he could be. Even so, Joey did eventually admit he “for sure had feelings for Alexia” in a confessional.
The fact that I know her father and sister through work made it clear that we could never be romantically involved. What if work wasn’t a factor? Even though they saw each other every day at The Agency, that does not mean that they did not engage in harmless office flirtation or meet up for casual catchups.
