Sharma, a native of the Murshidabad district, was a popular actor on Bengali television. He had roles in shows like “Jiyon Kathi,” “Jhumur,” and “Jiban Jyoti.”She was diagnosed with cancer twice, yet she beat it and came back to acting in 2015.

Sharma was afflicted with Ewing’s sarcoma, an extremely rare form of bone or bone marrow stromal sarcoma. Surgery and chemotherapy and radiation were used to help her.

CT scans of her brain revealed a massive hemorrhage on the left side of her brain after she was admitted to a private hospital in Howrah on November 1 due to a stroke.
