American Music Awards 2022: Check Out The Winners Of The American Music Awards Here!

who won at the American Music Awards

On Sunday night, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the 50th annual American Music Awards were presented.

Wayne Brady was the host of the ABC and dick Clark productions show.

The star-studded show honored the best music and performances of the year as determined by public vote.

Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican musician, received the most nominations this year, with eight total. Among those nominations was his first-ever for artist of the year. With “Un Verano Sin Ti,” he ended up winning two awards: one for his favorite male Latin artist and another for his favorite Latin album.

But the night belonged to Taylor Swift, who swept the six awards for which she was nominated. These victories solidified Swift’s position as the most-awarded performer in AMA history, bringing her total number of awards to 40.

Several artists, including Pink (who kicked off the show), Dove Cameron, Lil Baby, Bebe Rexha, Carrie Underwood, Imagine Dragons, and others, performed at this year’s American Music Awards.

The Icon Award was presented to Lionel Richie, a 17-time American Music Award winner, in recognition of his many achievements throughout his career. Artists such as Charlie Puth, Stevie Wonder, and others performed moving tributes to Richie. Before airing, the show revealed some of the lucky winners.
