sonic prime season 2

It’s likely that your children have already binge-watched all eight episodes of Sonic Prime in a single sitting, given that the series is currently available to stream in its entirety on Netflix. You may be wondering if there will be a continuation of the story. Quit your frantic scrounging! What little information we have about the second season of Sonic Prime is included below.

It’s no surprise that the popular Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise has spawned yet another television show: Sonic Prime, available on Netflix. The kids’ show was animated by WildBrain and co-produced by SEGA. The executive producers included WildBrain, SEGA, Erik Wiese, and Man of Action Entertainment.

Sonic and Dr. Eggman square off at the start of the series. To save the world, Sonic must quickly make his way through the Shatterverse to find his friends after an encounter with Dr. Eggman shatters the universe and sends them into parallel dimensions.

Sonic the Hedgehog is voiced by Deven Mack. The voice cast also includes Brian Drummond, Ashleigh Ball, Adam Nurada, Shannon Chan-Kent, Kazumi Evans, Ian Hanlin, Seán William McLoughlin, and Vincent Tong. Will there be a second season of Sonic Prime? Here is what we currently know.H2

Will Netflix Be Hosting The Second Season Of Sonic Prime?

The second season of Sonic Prime is confirmed to happen. The first order Netflix placed for the animated series included 24 episodes. Only eight episodes were included in the first season, so more must be coming in a second season.

Will Netflix Be Hosting The Second Season Of Sonic Prime

The second season will have more episodes than the first, but how many are unclear. We expect Netflix to divide the remaining 16 episodes into two seasons. There will likely be eight episodes in season 2, and then another eight in season 3.

Logan McPherson, an executive producer on the show, confirmed to What’s on Netflix that they have already made more episodes and that they will be coming “in the not too distant future.” Hopefully, new episodes will begin streaming sometime in 2023. My guess is that it could work.

A Look Ahead At Season 2 Of Sonic Prime

In developing this series, we set out to expand Sonic’s canon in exciting ways. Because of its foundation in established mythology and canon status, we found it an ideal starting point from which to craft our narrative. In contrast, “we wanted to stretch him and take the story in crazy new directions,” McPherson explained.

So the ‘Shatterverse,’ as we’re calling it, made sense for us to explore and play with various aspects and elements without altering the preexisting mythology, he continued.

Sonic Prime Season 2 Voice Cast

It’s likely that the voice actors who have been featured thus far will return for Season 2. Sonic Prime stars Deven Mack as Sonic the Hedgehog, Brian Drummond as Dr. Eggman, Ashleigh Ball as Miles Prower, Adam Nurada as Knuckles the Echidna, Shannon Chan-Kent as Amy Rose, Ian Hanlin as Shadow the Hedgehog, Kazumi Evans as Rouge the Bat, and others.

From the official summary: “During a battle with Dr. Eggman, Sonic recklessly destroys an artifact called the Paradox Prism, shattering the universe and sending him and his friends tumbling through parallel dimensions called ‘Shatterspaces.'”

Further, “Sonic races through the ‘Shatterverse,’ meeting alternate versions of his friends and Shadow the Hedgehog, and fighting the Chaos Council, a group of dictators made up of five alternate versions of Eggman, in his quest to restore the universe and save his friends (whom up until that moment he had taken for granted).

Is There Any Trailer for Sonic Prime Season 2?

Due to the fact that the premiere date for Season 2 has not been set, and because the trailer will likely be released a full month or two before the premiere, we have a very long wait ahead of us.

Final Words

Amy Rose did not make an appearance in any of the Sonic the Hedgehog movies. As far as we can tell, Amy Rose has left out of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. The Sonic 2 film does not feature Amy Rose.
