William, Prince of Wales, spent a romantic weekend in the Cotswold Hills with his closest friends.
According to a reliable source, the 40-year-old Prince of Wales kept a low profile at the wedding of his ex-girlfriend Rose Farquhar and George Gemmell on Saturday at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Tetbury in Gloucestershire.
It was a lovely event marred only by the late arrival of the bride and her father in a broken-down Audi A3.
The insider claims that the wedding took place in the snow and that it was a “magical” event. “After the reception, the bride and groom drove away in a vintage Land Rover through a tunnel of guests holding sparklers. To see the Cotswolds covered in snow is a sight to behold.”
Olivia Hunt, Tom Inskip, Jamie Murray Wells, Guy Pelly, Mark Tomlinson, Harry Meade, Natasha Rufus Isaacs, and Rupert Finch, who is also a former boyfriend of Kate Middleton, were among the guests.
Author Kati Nicholl called William’s romance with Farquhar, a childhood friend who was in attendance at his wedding to Kate, 40, in 2011, “an innocent, tender romance” in her book The Making of a Royal Romance.
According To Daily Mail, She Is William’s “First Serious Girlfriend”
Farquhar is a singer-songwriter who tried out for season 5 of The Voice UK in 2016, in addition to her day job as a special projects and business development manager for the Duchess of Rutland’s Belvoir Castle. Farquhar studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City.
William’s excursion follows the release this month on Netflix of the candid documentary series Harry & Meghan, which features the royal couple. Both Harry and Meghan’s backstories, upbringings, and eventual decision to step down from their respective positions as senior working royals are covered in the documentary.
A source close to the situation predicted that peace would take a long time to restore between the brothers. It’s been described as having “a lot of anger.”
Wedding Of Ex-Girlfriend Rose Farquhar, To Which Prince William Goes
Without Kate Middleton by his side, the Prince of Wales kept a low profile during the ceremony. At the ceremony in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, he wore a black tuxedo with a bow tie.
Tom Inskip, Guy Pelly, Mark Tomlinson, Jamie Murray Wells, Harry Meade, Natasha Rufus Isaacs, and her husband Rupert Finch, who also happens to be Kate Middleton’s ex-boyfriend, were all in attendance at the wedding.
Farquhar opted for a long-sleeved ballgown, while Gemmell sported a kilt. The bride and her dad drove an Audi A3 to the ceremony, and the newlyweds drove away in an old Land Rover.
It was a magical winter wedding in the snow,” a witness now says, describing the event. After the reception, the bride and groom drove away in a vintage Land Rover through a tunnel of guests holding sparklers. In the winter, the Cotswolds are especially picturesque.
George “could not be a more charming son-in-law for the future,” said Farquhar’s father to the media when the wedding was announced in September of this year. Our family has known the Gemmells for quite some time. And we couldn’t be happier about it!
As The Rumor Goes, Rose Farquhar Was Prince William’s “First Serious Girlfriend”
William, fresh off his A-levels at Eton College in 2000, was introduced to Farquhar for the first time at the Beaufort Polo Club. Some people say that William’s “first serious girlfriend” was named Rose. In addition, the exes were said to have been spotted making out in a field.
In her 2011 book The Making of a Royal Romance, author Kati Nicholl referred to their relationship as “an innocent, tender romance.” When William and Kate tied the knot in 2011, Rose was there too.
Rose is a member of the Duchess of Rutland’s staff at Belvoir Castle, and she also sings and writes songs; in 2016, she competed on season 5 of The Voice UK. She was an accomplished actress who had trained at New York’s Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
Following last week’s premiere of the docuseries starring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Netflix, Prince William’s public appearance comes at a time when the Royals are embroiled in yet another controversy. Prince Harry admitted that Prince William had yelled and screamed at him in one of the episodes.
To hear his brother “scream and shout at me,” his father “say things that were simply not true,” and his grandmother “quietly sit there and just take it all in,” Harry recalled, “was terrifying.” In addition, he claimed that Meghan was made the scapegoat in order to take the spotlight off of other Royal family members who had been involved in scandals.

A witness described the ceremony as “a magical winter wedding in the snow,” as reported by People magazine. After the reception, guests held sparklers in the dark as the newlyweds made their way to the back of a classic Land Rover. When covered in snow, the Cotswolds are a sight to behold.
It has been reported that Tom Inskip, Guy Pelly, Mark Tomlinson, Natasha Rufus Isaacs, and Kate Middleton’s ex-boyfriend Rupert Finch were all there, as was Middleton’s current husband, James Matthews.
The Duke of Sussex, who is Harry’s older brother and the heir apparent, recently confirmed the strained relationship between the two men, saying that Harry had yelled at him for deciding to step down from royal responsibilities.
