When You Can Watch College Basketball 2022-23 Season: TV, Radio & Web Schedules

college basketball schedule

The upcoming college basketball season is sure to be action-packed and will arrive much sooner than you would think. After a hard-fought match against North Carolina, the men’s basketball team from the University of Kansas, known as the Jayhawks, were able to bring home the championship last year. The women’s competition was won by the preseason favourite, South Carolina, who prevailed against UConn in the championship game.

The 2017 college basketball season has the potential to be even more interesting than usual due to a number of factors, including the departure of Coach K from Duke after a storied run of 43 years with the programme and the realignment of the conference landscape. Ahead of the competition, here is a look at some of the most important college basketball matches that will take place during the 2022-23 season:

Biggest Storyline for the 2022-23 Season

Instead of starting on Election Day, Monday, Nov. 7, men’s college basketball will. While many games are being played before Thanksgiving, some teams have chosen to play on November 8. Coach K left Duke after 43 illustrious years and said goodbye to the college basketball world. How the Blue Devils recover and work together in Jon Scheyer’s first season as head coach remains to be seen. In related news, Villanova’s head coach Jay Wright announced his retirement on April 20 after winning two national championships with the school.

As he begins his first season with the Wildcats, Kyle Neptune has a lot of large shoes to fill. On Nov. 20, Oscar Tshiebwe and Kentucky will play host to Drew Timme and Gonzaga in a historic battle. This will be the first time since Dec. 1, 1973 that a returning AP Player of the Year and a returning two-time AP All-American will square off against one another. Shaheen Holloway, who in a legendary Cinderella tale guided St. Peter’s to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament last season, is returning to his alma mater Seton Hall to lead the Pirates.
