General Hospital’s Marcus Coloma is leaving the show after three years. On Monday, the actor, who is 44 years old, announced his departure from the ABC daytime drama.

On General Hospital in 2019, Coloma plays Nikolas Cassadine. Coloma expressed his regret at leaving in an Instagram video, in which he also expressed gratitude to his fans.

The actor reflected, “It’s hard to even say it.” “When I dwell on it, I just feel terrible sadness. I’m at a loss for words; this has been an unbelievable journey. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work at General Hospital, where everyone treats each other like family.”
