Married couple Jason Ritter and Melanie Lynskey will appear onscreen together for the second time this year. In the upcoming second season of “Yellowjackets” on Showtime, Ritter will appear in an episode as a guest star.
Ritter made a guest appearance on Peacock’s “Candy,” which Lynskey helmed, earlier this year. She told Variety at the time that she felt more confident with him in the room.
“He’s a fantastic performer and a genuinely nice guy. Everyone at the office was so complimentary of my husband when I returned to work. It makes me seem as though I made a good choice in a life partner,” she gushed.
It’s great fun to get to work with someone as talented as him because he brings fresh ideas to the table with each take. He also has a great talent for improv. It’s challenging because we try to be there for each other even when one of us is hard at work.
It would be challenging if we were both engaged in a full-time endeavor. Our nanny seems to be working so hard while we’re away that it makes me feel guilty about leaving her alone with the kids.
