Apparently, a fight between a woman and her boyfriend last night turned violent, and she was shot in the head, waking up in critical condition this morning, as reported by San Antonio police.
The incident took place at 4:02 AM on Saturday in the 5100 block of W. Commerce. A “through and through” gunshot wound to the torso was discovered by responding officers upon the discovery of the 18-year-old female victim.
They rushed her to the nearest hospital. The police said she was in critical condition and undergoing surgery. The police spoke to three upstairs neighbors who said they could hear shouting and breaking of objects from the woman’s apartment. They reported hearing a gunshot a short while later.
Next, the neighbors went downstairs and discovered the woman had been shot and was hurt. Her boyfriend, however, was nowhere to be found, and neither was his car in the parking lot, as reported by SAPD. The police looked everywhere but couldn’t locate him. As of now, the investigation is still ongoing.
