As of Wednesday morning, two people had been shot and were taken to the hospital after the incident that took place in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Windsor Hills.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a report of gunfire at 5005 S. La Brea Ave. at approximately 8:15 a.m.
There were two people shot. Their current medical status at the hospital is unknown. The police said they believe a 9 mm handgun was used in the crime.
A man between 5 and 5 feet tall, the suspect was last seen wearing all black, including a hooded black coat. There was still no sign of the suspect.
Nobody else was hurt that anyone knew about. A motel on the corner of La Brea and Stocker St. was reportedly the scene of the shooting.

Shots Fired At A Windsor Hills Motel Leave 2 People Injured
CA — There was a shooting at a Windsor Hills motel on a Wednesday morning, leaving one man and one woman wounded.
Sgt. Sal Picarella of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the incident happened at the Summit Motel located at 5005 S. La Brea Ave. at around 8:00 a.m.
Picarella stated that both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment and that the suspect was a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt. No arrests had been made at the time of his report.
