Before the last midterm elections, the vice president was in town to campaign for Democrats in Illinois.
Mitch McConnell, the Republican minority leader in the Senate, will travel to Kentucky on Wednesday to meet with President Biden. On Thursday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi will accompany White House Infrastructure Coordinator Mitch Landrieu to San Francisco.
