An inquiry has shown that a young woman took her own life on Sunday afternoon by jumping to her death from the rooftop of a luxurious apartment complex located on the Upper East Side. At approximately 12:54 in the afternoon, it is thought that the girl, who was 17 years old at the time, jumped from the eighth floor of the building that is located at 122 East 82nd Street.
After a period of time had passed, the medical examiner arrived, and it was established beyond a reasonable doubt that she had gone away. The girl’s complete identity was not known to the general public until some point in the future, which was at some point in the future.

What neighbourhood Says
A local resident of the area reportedly told The Post, “I was coming out of my apartment and there were three ambulances on the block.” This information was provided in response to a question posed by The Post. “It is a very unfortunate event that has taken place. It is absolutely terrible in every way that can possibly be imagined.
A doorman who works on the same block as the victim stated that this is the second time in approximately six months that someone has committed suicide by jumping off of one of the buildings in the area. Both of these individuals committed suicide, and both of them did it in the same geographical location. The doorman said in a statement that he believed it was “extremely insane,” and he expressed his thoughts on the matter.

The building was sold for about $5 Million
According to StreetEasy.com, in recent months, several of the co-ops located in the Manhattan building have been sold for prices that have reached as high as over 5 million dollars per unit individually. According to the website of the real estate company, the building was constructed before the war and has a total of nine different floors.

According to the East Side Feed blog, on June 19, a man who was 27 years old committed suicide by jumping to his death from an apartment building that was located just across the street. A woman who was 65 years old and had either fallen or jumped from a building in New York City in September of 2019 was able to survive her injuries. The incident occurred near the intersection of East End Avenue and East 82nd Street.
