In the highly anticipated new Netflix series That ’90s Show, Eric and Donna’s daughter (Leia Forman) spends the summer in Wisconsin after a trip to see Red and Kitty at their Point Place home.
The second season of the hit the late-’90s/early-’00s FOX sitcom, which starred Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, and Callie Haverda as Leia lived up to the high standards set by the first. That ’90s Show Release Date
It was hoped by many that the spinoff would premiere in 2022, but that will not be the case. The good news is that we won’t have to hold our breath for too much longer to find out what these characters have been up to all this time! On January 19, 2023, Netflix will debut the first episode of That ’90s Show.
Why The ’90s?
Well, it’s accurate in terms of time frame (yes, the original series ended nearly 20 years ago), and aside from our current obsession with all things Y2K,
the ’90s were the last decade in which teenagers would actually be sitting around just chatting without the distraction of a screen. Lindsey Turner, the daughter of the show’s creators and a writer on the remake, told Variety,
“The ’90s was the last time that people were looking up; they weren’t looking down at their phones.” It was the last bastion of genuine interaction, where people had to improvise in order to have fun and form genuine bonds.

That ’90s Show Trailer
An early Christmas presents for fans came on December 22nd, when Netflix released the first official trailer for the new spinoff.
A scene depicting Leia’s arrival at her grandparent’s house and the introduction of her playmates are included in the trailer (and the trouble they get up to).
Yet now comes the time we’ve all been anticipating: In the preview, we get a sneak peek at Eric, Donna, Kelso, Jackie, and Fez getting back together. The preview clip reveals, for the first time since the series was announced, what the gang has been up to since the original ended, and it looks like a lot of fun for fans of the original.
Mila Kunis, who played Jackie Burkhart on That ’90s Show, recently explained why her character had ended her relationship with Fez and started dating Michael Kelso. After her That ’70s Show finale with Fez, Mila Kunis ruined it by revealing that Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso are dating in That ’90s Show.
