Brandon Smiley, the son of late actor and comedian Rickey Smiley, recently passed away. Since then, Rickey Smiley has been in mourning over his son’s death and in a state of shock. Smiley, who starred on “The Rickey Smiley Show,” posted on his official Instagram on Sunday that he had some “bad news” to share.
He penned, “I hate to announce this, but I just want to give it to you before you hear it in the streets.” As of this morning, my son Brandon Smiley has passed away.
As the comedian broke the news to his followers, they began posting messages of condolence on his profile. Even though Smiley did not reveal the age of his son or the reason for his death. Smley asked for prayers for himself and his loved ones as he was getting ready to leave for the airport.
Just tell all my cousins and other relatives to keep praying and to hang in there; I’m fine. Please say a prayer for me as I raise Brandon’s mother and his siblings.
