According to the Chicago Police Department, three people were hurt as a result of an accident that took place on the South Side of the city on Monday evening. The event was reported to have occurred as a consequence of a collision.

A red 2014 Toyota Camry that was headed in the opposite direction, westbound on 75th Street, was involved in a collision with a black Mercedes that was heading in the opposite direction, northbound on State Street. According to the records that were filed by the police, the collision was caused because the driver of the black Mercedes ran a red light and was responsible for it.

After that, the driver of the Mercedes was unable to regain control of the vehicle, and it smashed into a tree while also hitting two individuals who were walking along the sidewalk. All of this occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The comments made by the police indicate that the people who had been inside the Mercedes eventually got out of the vehicle and sped away from the scene of the crime. As a result of the accident, the Toyota’s driver was apparently sent to a nearby hospital, where he or she is currently listed as being in a critical condition, according to the reports made by the police.
