Known by his stage name, Criss Angel, American Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos is a magician, illusionist, and musician. Though Angel got his start in the Big Apple, he now makes his home in the Las Vegas Valley.
Criss Angel Believe and Criss Angel Mindfreak are two of the Cirque du Soleil show at the Luxor casino in Las Vegas for which he is best known. Approximately $150 million was contributed to the local economy by the show in 2010.
After it ended in 2015, it was replaced in 2016 by Mindfreak LIVE! (the show is partly produced by Cirque du Soleil; however, the directive rights are entirely with Criss Angel). In 2014, he also appeared on Criss Angel Magicjam, which aired on NBC, and Criss Angel BeLIEve, which aired on Spike TV.

Criss Angel Early Years And Education
On December 19, 1967, Criss Angel entered this world at Hempstead General Hospital on Long Island, New York. He has Greek ancestry. At the age of nine, Angel and his family relocated from Elmont to East Meadow, New York. His dad’s name was John Sarantakos. His businesses included a diner and a doughnut shop.
At the tender age of seven, he became fascinated by magic, and by the time he was 12 years old, he had already performed his first show, for which he was paid $10.
