Fans of Real Housewives of Potomac may recall that Ashley revealed in the premiere of the seventh season that residents of Virginia are required to demonstrate that they have been separated for a whole year before they can formally begin with a divorce proceeding. The year that Ashley and Michael have spent apart is almost at an end; yet, the question remains as to whether or not their divorce will be formalised in the near future.

Ashley and Michael’s marriage has been questioned by many
The fact that Ashley and Michael got married has long been a topic of conversation not just among the cast members of RHOP OG but also among the show’s viewers. At first, people were curious as to why a stunningly gorgeous young pageant queen would want to wed an older businessman who had essentially completed his life’s journey by the time they got married.
Then, as the seasons progressed, fresh concerns started to poke at the ins and outs of their relationship, with allegations of infidelity and suspicions of inappropriate behaviour becoming a primary motif in the narratives of the show.
Michael is not part of the show now
“I appreciate that Michael has decided he doesn’t want to be a part of [the show] anymore,” she says. “He had no privacy for a while, which was a pretty challenging situation. Even though it was partly his fault, he simply wanted to get his life back. He says, “I’m 62 years old and I just want to have my life back,” and I appreciate that.”

Ashley & Luke Relationship?
Ashley said on WWHL that she has broken up with Luke. Yet she said the model was a “trouper” when they were together. Ashley said, “Luke and I are no longer romantically involved.” Truly, as you can probably guess, my life is somewhat complicated. Luke was a trooper during a terrible time I’m going through.
I assure you that he experienced some hardships. Ashley said that their problems were “not really about Luke,” and Andy questioned whether Michael was finding it difficult to see his ex-girlfriend move on with the Summer House graduate.
Divorce is not going as planned
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star Ashley Darby’s divorce is not proceeding as she had hoped. After making public her decision to end her marriage to Michael, she felt certain that she would be awarded a satisfactory divorce settlement.
However, as she disclosed during the reunion for season 7, she did not receive even half of what she had anticipated receiving. Moving forward, Ashley will be forced to rely on her own worth in order to provide for her lifestyle.
Ashley not getting Alimony
The RHOP star separated legally in the fall of last year. According to the separation, she intends to file for divorce this month. Despite being married for eight years, she claims she will walk away from Michael’s lucrative portfolio with almost nothing.
She is not permitted to receive alimony. Ashley will maintain the house she presently resides in and get spousal assistance in case she encounters financial difficulty, in addition to receiving child support for their two minor children.
