An emotional repercussions from Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s shared past has been hinted at in a new update about what to anticipate for Jujutsu Kaisen, which will return for the anime’s second season later this summer.
One of the biggest hints from the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel movie was not that it took place a year before the main series’ events but rather that Gojo and the main antagonist Geto had gone to Jujutsu Tech together as two potent sorcerers who were on the same squad. The post contains further information.
Will there be a Jujustu Kaisen season 2
Yes. During a post-opening stage event for Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which had amassed over $85.1 million by that point since it had debuted on December 24 in Japanese theatres, a second season of Jujutsu Kaisen was revealed. Gege Akutami, the author of Jujutsu Kaisen, created a drawing of Yuta Okkotsu, the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and his cursed spirit companion Rika to mark the occasion.
New description about Gojo and Geto’s Characters
The most recent issue of Shueisha’s Saikyo Jump magazine features a new character description for Gojo and Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, which teases the pair as such (as noted by @king jin woo on Twitter), “During their time at Jujutsu Tech, Gojo and Geto were at their strongest when working together as a pair.
Yet after a specific incident, Gojo alone emerges as the most powerful entity.” It’s difficult to say without giving anything away that this alludes to the massive mission that served as the centrepiece of Season 2’s first major arc.

What we can see in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2?
The conclusion of the Death Painting Arc, which took place in chapters 55–64 of the manga version of Jujutsu Kaisen, marked the end of the first season. It is now official that Gojo’s Past Arc, which comprises chapters 65–79 of the manga, will be adapted first in the second season. It is centred on Gojo’s background, notably a mission in which Geto and Gojo escorted a Star Plasma Vessel to Tengen. You guessed it.
The Shibuya Incident will also be adapted for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. (chapters 79-136). Don’t worry, we won’t get into spoiler area, but the Shibuya Incident Arc is centred around Gojo and his new cursed alliance’s scheme to imprison Goto. That will undoubtedly span two complete seasons, thus the subsequent season should have 24 to 26 episodes.

Jujutsu Kaisen cast and crew
Even though it hasn’t been officially announced, it is all but certain that the most, if not all, of the voice actors from Season 1 will repeat their roles in Season 2. Since they all have significant roles to play in the Shibuya Incident Arc, the majority of the season’s important characters from the first season who are still alive, such as Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara, will make appearances.
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any information released about the voice actors who have been chosen for any of the new characters that will feature in the season, including Toji Fushiguro, who is a fan favourite. Studio Mappa will once again produce the anime, and many of the team members from the previous season are likely to return.

Where will be Jujutsu Kaisen streaming?
At this time, it is not clear which streaming service will be successful in acquiring the licence rights to broadcast Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 in North America. However, considering that the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen was broadcast in its entirety on Crunchyroll.
