Queen Of The Universe is a genuine reality show
The unquestionable talents of drag queens, which can extend far beyond make-up skills and attention to design elements, have continuously demonstrated over the past few decades that they deserve a position in popular culture. This has been the case year after year. We owe a debt of gratitude to a few drag-themed television series (and even films).
But the advent of Queen of the Universe has only served to further establish that some queens, in addition to lip-syncing their way to the top, are genuinely capable of singing their way to the top. The international drag queen singing competition will be blowing wigs off once again, this time with 10 new queens competing for the title of “Queen of the Universe.”

With larger stilettos to fill, the competition has bigger shoes to fill. The cast of the show’s second season has been unveiled by Paramount+, and it features queens from various regions of the world, as well as stars from previous seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race from Italy and Holland.
A bevy of unscripted shows are available on the streaming site, some of which include RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars, Big Brother, and The Real World, amongst others. Queen of the Universe is the latest addition to this roster. In addition to RuPaul, MTV Entertainment and World of Wonder are the show’s executive producers. RuPaul is an icon in the world of drag.
