It was on October 28th, 1972 in the state of West Virginia that Brad Douglas Paisley entered this world. Douglas Edward “Doug” Paisley and Sandra Jean Paisley are the parents of Paisley. Doug Paisley worked for the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
The guitar he learned to play on was a gift from his maternal grandfather. When he was in the third grade, he gave his first performance in front of an audience by singing in his church. At first, rather than having him play the song on the piano, they had him play it on the guitar.
