It’s been a few months since we last, ostensibly permanently, said the Shelby family farewell on television. Peaky Blinders‘ sixth and last season came to an end on Sunday, April 3, 2022, with a feature-length finale titled Lock and Key.
For the cursed Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his friends, the episode was full of turns that ended some storylines while beginning others for the film adaptation. How far is the show going? See the page for additional information on whether Peaky Blinder will have a seventh season.
Will there be Peaky Blinders Season 7
As far as we are aware at the time that this article is being written, the sixth season of Peaky Blinders will also be the show’s final season. We are aware that this information has caused a great deal of distress for fans.
In any event, it was revealed that there will be a spinoff movie following the conclusion of the final season. We sincerely hope that the viewers will eventually be satisfied with the conclusion provided by that spin-off movie.

What’s the future for the Peaky Blinders
As retaliation for Polly’s passing, Arthur kills McKee and her IRA allies in the Peaky Blinders season 6 finale. On Miquelon Island, Tommy shoots Michael to death. Tommy bids his family goodbye. He eventually learns that Dr Holford was lying to him because he doesn’t have tuberculoma.
Nonetheless, he decides to spare Holford’s life. Finn is expelled from the Shelby Family and Peaky Blinders Gang by Duke after Billy is killed. While leaving on his horse at the end of the season, Tommy sees his cart and the last of his possessions burn.
A new civil war between Duke and Finn inside the Shelby family could break out in the future movie. Tommy will likely return to Birmingham to protect his family if the movie is set during World War II, which may cause him to clash with those who had gotten accustomed to his absence. Arthur, who thinks Tommy is dead, might try to do something terrible.

Peaky Blinders: The Movie
The Peaky Blinders movie will be the first and foremost continuation of Peaky Blinders. There won’t be a seventh season of the main Peaky Blinders television series, but there will be a feature film and perhaps a spin-off series.
The movie is expected to start filming in the upcoming months, and Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson are reportedly returning as Tommy and Arthur Shelby, respectively. Stephen Graham’s potential return to the franchise as Hayden Stagg has also been alluded to by Knight.
Peaky Blinders Movie expected release date
Although it is currently far too early to estimate a release date, a recent interview with Steven Knight has given us a better idea of the timeline. If everything goes according to plan, that would imply that the movie will be finished shooting by the end of 2023, making a late 2024 theatrical release date appear feasible. It’s all uncertain right now, though.

Peaky Blinders Movie cast
Although the Peaky Blinders movie’s complete cast list has not yet been released, we anticipate seeing some of the show’s most recognisable characters. Also, a few other relatively well-known names have been added to the mix.
The first piece of good news is that Cillian Murphy (Tommy Shelby) and on-screen sibling Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby) will both be back for the project, as Steven Knight revealed to Digital Spy. “There are so many people, so many fantastic actors, that we are already, sort of, in communication with for the movie and whatever comes after,” Knight concluded.
To Conclude
Fans will be sad to know that there will be no Peaky Blinders Season 7. But the good news is Peaky Blinders The Movie will be coming to continue the story after season 6.
