This MCU trilogy will conclude with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 this summer, and if the latest teaser is any indication, we’re in for some heavy feelings.
Marvel debuted the second trailer for the threequel during the Super Bowl, following the first trailer in December 2022. Fans were left wondering who would die, and they were also shown Peter Quill’s reunion with Gamora (but not the same Gamora).
Obviously, we hope that none of them will perish, but Dave Bautista may have dropped a clue that we should get ready for the worst. Bautista recalled to Digital Spy, “I remember shooting the last sequence that we were all going to shoot together.”
“No, today was not the final day. It was not the final day by a long shot. Nonetheless, that was the last time the original Guardians of the Galaxy cast gathered on set, and we all shed a few tears about it. Consequently, I anticipate more of the same in the future.”
We can only hope that their emotional response to filming their final moment together was only symbolic.
Tickets for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will go on sale on a specific date, and that date is quickly approaching.
James Gunn has often stated that Guardians Vol. 3 will be the final picture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to feature the present cast.
There’s a sense of finality around the picture, and the marketing has consistently reinforced the idea that not everyone will survive the events of the movie unscathed. This isn’t to say that some or even all of these characters can’t appear in future Marvel Studios movies.
Even if the end is near, fans will still flock to the film because they love the characters and the Guardians franchise.
Release Date Of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
On May 5 of that year, 2023, moviegoers will be able to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
On Monday, November 8th, 2021, director James Gunn tweeted a Polaroid photo of his cast reuniting after a long hiatus to announce that filming had begun on the sequel.
In his words: “The path here has been unusually lengthy and difficult at times, but all that adversity has served to heighten the joy of this final arrival. I’m excited to be back on set with the Guardians crew.”
In May of 2022, filming was over, and the long post-production process could begin.
Six years will have passed since the misfit superhero team’s last solo adventure by the time Guardians Vol. 3 is released, although the long interval between stories was apparently not planned.
Gunn’s temporary firing (more on that below), his subsequent dedication to The Suicide Squad, and the coronavirus epidemic all contributed to the film’s multiple delays, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Cast Of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) all make return appearances. Also returning as Gamora following the events of Avengers: Endgame is Zoe Saldana.
Saldaa has indicated she wants to “explore a nasty Gamora” in the third Guardians film, but the teaser trailers have made it appear like the character’s story is less one of villainy and more one of insensitivity. She has also been dropping hints about the plot of the third installment, and it appears that we will need Kleenex.

In October of 2022, she elaborated by calling it a “really beautiful exit,” which we can only assume to be positive. The trailer revealed that since we last saw her, the “new” Gamora had joined the Ravagers.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Marathon Event
Studio social media pages included a Broadway-style banner for the film as an announcement of the marathon event. Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, written and directed by James Gunn, will have its world premiere in IMAX theatres on May 3 at an exclusive early showing. Conclusion
As was previously established, Gunn has stated the bleak conclusion that this is the last time he will travel with his Guardians. Gunn essentially created this franchise from scratch and has imbued each film with his personal touches and unique vision.
Because of this, the director considers Quill, Rocket, Gamora, and the rest of the team to be his personal children. There has been widespread speculation that one or more of the main characters would die in the upcoming third volume.
Disney and Marvel, however, are smart enough to know how profitable fan favourites like Rocket and Groot can be, and they aren’t going to turn down the cash.
Some of the team members might make it out alive, although they might decide to split up afterwards. By the very end of the film, it’s possible that a new roster of Guardians, with both returning characters and brand-new additions, will be established.
Whatever the situation may be, on May 5 you may see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
