Signature Room at the 95th

On Sunday, May 14, the Signature Room at the 95th floor will host a three-course Mother’s Day breakfast. The cost is $75 per head. Classic Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, Croissants with Banana Foster, Shellfish Pasta, and Lobster Bisque are all on the menu. Blueberry crisp, lemon pound cake and white and dark chocolate mousse cake round out the dessert menu.

Saranello’s

This North Suburban Italian restaurant is offering Mother’s Day brunch or dinner for $39.95 per person. Dinner selections include stuffed mushrooms, prawn cocktail, whitefish, baked mac & cheese and apple pie, while brunch features smoked salmon, bagels and cream cheese, eggs Benedict, Canadian bacon, turkey and prime rib. Dinner packages for two, four or six people can be purchased for as little as $17.95 per person.

Mon Ami Gabi 

This French steakhouse in Lincoln Park will have its patio open on Mother’s Day if the weather permits. The new Alaskan halibut with clams in brodo, Calabrian chile, and mint is included on the $55 pre fixe menu, along with steamed artichoke with shaved veggies and Dijon vinaigrette and strawberry and Chantilly cream pastries with edible flowers. You can also order from the standard dine-in or takeaway menus at Mon Ami Gabi.

Panera Bread

Panera is a great choice because we’re confident that bread is the way to every mother’s heart, and the restaurant chain is, in fact, open on Mother’s Day. If you buy Mom a $50 gift card, you should be eligible to earn a $10 bonus card, as was the case last year.

Logan’s Roadhouse

Logan’s Roadhouse, much to the delight of its regular clientele, will be open for business as usual on Mother’s Day. Hot & Ready and Take & Bake, two of their most popular shows, will also air as usual.

Botanic Garden of Chicago

Enjoy a picnic in the Chicago Botanic Garden among the blooming plants and trees this spring.
