ABC News has learned from sources who are acquainted with the situation that Donald Trump, the former president, will travel to New York City on Thursday to give a second testimony in connection with New Jersey AG Letitia James’ 250 million-dollar civil fraud lawsuit.
Trump was deposed for many hours back in August, before James filed her complaint against him, his eldest children, and his firm for allegedly exaggerating the market value of both the Trump residential property holdings and Trump’s personal wealth.
After a lawsuit has been filed, the office of the attorneys general may take depositions of relevant parties during the course of the procedure for discovering evidence. On Thursday, Trump will go downtown to the attorney general’s office for a second deposition.

Former president did not provide many answers in his first deposition beyond his confirmation that he was familiar with the rules and procedures.
When asked by the solicitor general’s deputy attorney general Kevin Wallace what preparations Trump had made for the deposition, the president responded, “very little.”
According to sources, former president Donald Trump will return to New York City on Wednesday for matters pertaining to New Hampshire State’s Attorney General Letitia James’ investigation into the company’s practises of the Trump Organization.
The visit will be the first time the disgraced ex-president has been back to New York City since his arraignment in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s hush-money investigation.
On Wednesday afternoon, Trump is rumoured to be flying from Mar-a-Lago to New York City again on Donald Force One, based on law enforcement officers familiar with the James case.

On Thursday, state prosecutors will interrogate Trump for a second occasion in relation to their investigation into possible fraud at the group known as the Trump Organization led by James. Donald Trump is likely to again plead the fifth.
Trump refused to answer any questions regarding his finances, invoking the Fifth Amendment over and over again over the course of several hours.
Trump, three of his adult kids, and acquaintances are all included in James’ lawsuit. The New York Attorney General has charged the Trump Organization with asset inflation to lower interest rates on loans and increase insurance coverage.
New York is already dealing with a media circus because of his charges, and his forthcoming visit is only anticipated to make things worse. The former president has already capitalised on his legal problems by holding a fundraiser based on his detention.
The Situation Is Difficult, But Not Overly So!
Trump’s unprecedented arraignment in the unrelated criminal case necessitated weeks of security arrangements, but the former Manhattan residence did not waste any time getting out of town once he was released.
Trump’s own address following his arraignment in the Stormy Daniel’ hush-money case added to the anticipating melodrama with his return, as he personally called out James and other people he believed harmed him.
The lawsuit states that Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida residence and golf facility, was incorrectly valued at $739 million. Trump is accused of inflating the value of his real estate holdings, including his Trump Tower Manhattan residence, his Trump Turnberry Scotland golf course and his 40 Wall Street office building.
Both of the president’s elder children, Ivanka and the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., have already given depositions in this lawsuit before.

Trump had originally filed a countersuit against James for launching the complaint in the first place. In January, however, after U.S. District Court Justice Donald Middlebrooks cautioned the attorney general’s team that the allegations in the complaint appeared to be frivolous, Trump withdrew the action.
Following Attorney General James’s filing of the $250 million civil action against the Trump Corporation in 2022, in which he charged the Donald family of “staggering fraud,” the former president has repeatedly attacked James.
The former president charged that the Democratic attorney general was leading a politically motivated “witch hunt” around him. James claimed that Trump and his business associates were obstructing her inquiry.
