The Chicago Police Department is conducting an investigation into three separate robberies of armoured trucks that took place on Wednesday within a span of only a few hours of each other.
The three cities of Chicago, Lansing, and Calumet City were all affected by the string of catastrophes that happened in rapid succession.
In the words of the Police Department of Chicago, at around 1:20 p.m., two unidentified suspects confronted a man victim who had just unloaded a Brink’s armoured vehicle. The victim was unloading cash.
That Had Never Happened Before?

A report from the Police Department of Chicago, at around 1:20 p.m., two unidentified offenders confronted a man victim who had just unloaded a Brink’s armoured vehicle.
The victim was unloading cash. According to reports obtained by Fox News Digital from the police, the two suspects produced firearms and seized the car that belonged to the victim.

According to the testimony of one of the witnesses, one of the individuals in question brandished a firearm and kept the driver hostage while the other suspect grabbed crates containing cash from the armoured truck.
The eyewitness described the incident to FOX 32 Chicago as follows: “The dude pulled out a suitcase and two very, really enormous boxes of money.”
FOX 32 Chicago was able to establish that the two criminals grabbed roughly $400,000 worth of currency from the armoured vehicle before being apprehended by the cops.

The male suspects used the Brink’s truck to flee the site of the crime, but the Chicago police were able to catch up with them just a few miles down the road before they were apprehended.
